It's Here... The 8th Annual Bead Soup Blog Party Reveal!!

Here we go... it's time for the 8th Bead Soup Blog Party Reveal... and my partner is the wonderfully talented B. Kuhlman, of Mixed Mayhem.  Be sure to check out her blog to see the Bead Soup I sent her and what she made with it! :) I haven't gotten to see yet and I can't wait!!!
Remember the wonderful and challenging bead soup she sent me?  Here's a picture.
B sent me,  Peridot Jasper... pretty crystals, glass pearls, silk ribbons, a toggle clasp and matching wire. She made the gorgeous pendant and I believe the clasp as well. Her wire work is gorgeous!!! The focal... inspiring! Her wire work... inspiring!!!
The color was a challenge for me as was the size of the little beads... a challenge I  ended up enjoying very much though as it forced me out of my comfort zone and I found that I  really enjoy the color ... it's very soft and soothing. Thanks B!

Ok... are you ready? Here is what I made ...
Click the picture to enlarge.

I pulled 2 of my favorite colors into the design... pairing the peridot with purple and a yummy chocolate brown.  This close up shows off the pretty facets in the focal... and B's awesome wire work.

I didn't get to use all the beads yet or the ribbon... and I have yet to attempt the wire. I do have plans to give that a try some time soon. Maybe create a matching bracelet and a pair of earrings to go with the necklace? We shall see!

This beauty is available for purchase if you'd like it....
here on our website! :)

Thank you B for being so wonderful... I really enjoyed having you as a partner and I hope you feel the same. I'm also so glad I have made a new friend! Thank you for challenging AND inspiring me.  XO

And a HUGE thank you to our hostess with the mostest... Lori Anderson!!!
Thank you Lori for making all of this possible. I know these things take a lot of time and work and energy and love.... and w/o you, there would be a huge piece missing in the heart of the bead and jewelry world.  And accomplishing  all this while you have been sick and going thru such a hard time... on top of being a mom and wife. Wow! So THANK YOU, for all you do... I know it's been hard. You are awesome!!

Please try to visit all of the participants blogs... it's so fun and inspiring to see the Bead Soup everyone sent to each other and what they have created with it.

And don't forget to check out my wonderful partner's blog to see what she made with the bead soup I sent her: Mixed Mayhem.
